Spear of Longinus
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Spear of Longinus is a post-Moon Lord progression endgame spear with extreme damage. While held the tip follows your cursor, a holy cross under you acts as an energy bar, and nearby enemies receive Fate Marks.
Combat Behavior
Section titled “Combat Behavior”Charge while held
Section titled “Charge while held”- Builds holy energy while held (cap ~4 s); each full bar adds one field, up to 6
- Each field multiplies weapon damage by (stacks + 1)—six stacks is absurd
- Marks the nearest enemy within ~60 tiles and spawns red shockwaves around them on a timer
- Normal throw: first hit detonates a large blast at the impact point
- Charged throw (with fields): spends all fields and energy for a stronger toss; bigger first-hit blast
- Hit a marked enemy → Pilgrim’s Fury (~2 s stun, then multiple god-slaying light pillars)
- No mark → fires homing soul seekers at marked targets (high pierce, strong tracking)
In a Zenith world the spear sprite switches to an EVA-style variant.

How to Obtain
Section titled “How to Obtain”Requires Calamity. Craft at the Omega Substance Polymerizer with multiple endgame bars and weapons (Shadowspec Bar, Galactic Disaster, Neutron Star Ingot, etc.—see in-game recipe). No normal anvil recipe.
