Overview
Section titled “Overview”A true-melee katana that grows with world boss progress. Clearing trial targets raises growth level (0–28), scaling damage, reach, crit, and knockback. While Murasama is held, trials appear under Demon Blade Murasama · Trials in the entrust panel.
Combat
Section titled “Combat”- Right-click: Aim and charge sword energy.
- Left-click: True melee hits charge sword energy; strong nearby enemies also charge it slowly.
- Trigger key (bind in settings): Fire the blade at full sword energy; left-click during flight for the ascending slash.
- Down key: Spend 1 weapon charge for a downward strike (Sakura Fall).
- At max weapon charge, another ascending slash hit triggers the finishing move (Dimensional Slash).
Skill unlocks
Section titled “Skill unlocks”Ascending Slash — Growth level ≥ 3 (after Eye of Cthulhu)
Downward Strike — Growth level ≥ 8 (after entering Hardmode)
Finishing Move — Growth level ≥ 21 (after Moon Lord)
Trials
Section titled “Trials”28 trials tied to Calamity and vanilla boss kills, capping growth level at 28. If the world already downed the boss, that trial completes when you reach its tier (skips are allowed), but future trials stay hidden until your level catches up. Trial 08 (Path to the Underworld) only requires Hardmode, not a fresh Wall of Flesh kill.
