Space Rules
Section titled “Space Rules”Per candidate tile:
- 12 empty tiles above
- 2 tiles clear left and right at the top
- About every 5 s, scan ~50 tiles; cache up to 50 spots
- About every 3 s, if UE ≥ 5, pick a random cached spot
- Ballistic check from machine to target (walls block)
- Fire an acorn along the arc
- ~0.33 s after landing, regrowth starts on that tile
- ~0.5 s prep → ~2 s grow into the correct tree type
