Fish-oil commission
Halibut offers a lab commission once you stock enough common fish: submit 300 eligible fish for Fish Oil.

How the offer starts
Section titled “How the offer starts”You need the first meeting done, Queen Bee defeated, and you must never have accepted or declined this line before.
When eligible fish in your inventory total 10 or more, Halibut comes to you:
You seem to have caught a fair amount of common fish recently.
Give me some for my research, and I can refine them into a bottle of fresh fish oil.
The process is tedious but not difficult. Fish oil has more potential than you think.

Which fish count
Section titled “Which fish count”These 12 types (including stack counts) count toward the 300:
Bass, Trout, Salmon, Tuna, Red Snapper, Neon Tetra, Damselfish, Armored Cavefish, Hemopiranha, Ebonkoi, Specular Fish, Prismite.
Fish on your cursor count too, so the tracker stays aligned with what you are carrying.
Reaching 300
Section titled “Reaching 300”The commission defaults to tracked. The left tracker shows how many fish you still need and your current progress.
At 300, the game prompts: “Fish collected. Please focus on the quest to submit.”
Turning them in
Section titled “Turning them in”At 300 or more while the entry is tracked or active (not suspended), Halibut asks:
Hmm, you’ve collected enough fish.
Just enough for me to extract a bottle of fish oil.
Are you going to hand them over to me?

If your count drops at confirm, she says “Hmm? It seems you don’t have enough fish. Go catch some more and come back.” Nothing is consumed.
If you defer, she says “Alright, come find me whenever you’ve made up your mind.”
Reward and after
Section titled “Reward and after”On success she says “Excellent, just a moment… Here you go, a fresh bottle of fish oil.” You actually receive 5 Fish Oil. One-time only; if she approaches again: “I’ve already given you the fish oil. If you want more, you’ll have to wait until next time.”
