Domain Skills

DOMAIN SKILLS

Halibut

Stack tiers, open the domain, teleport — the ones locked to the sea.

Domain skills unlock as you raise Tidal Domain tiers in the Abyssal Domain panel. More active eyes mean more skills, a wider outer ring, and stronger water-pressure damage.

Mechanics on this page reflect the current build. Resurrection progress and tier count constrain each other. Higher tiers shorten some cooldowns; tier 10 unlocks extra forms.

The six skills below follow unlock order; names match in-game localization.

01

Tidal Domain

Unlock
From tier 1
Trigger
Domain Expansion
Cooldown
~0.25s between toggles

Toggle a multi-layer tidal field; ring count follows active eyes in the Abyssal Domain panel.

Mechanics

Press the domain keybind to open or close Tidal Domain around you. Tier equals the number of active eyes in the Abyssal Domain panel, from 1 to 10, and sets how many concentric rings exist at once.

After opening, the field expands to full radius over about 2 seconds and then stays up. The center follows you. Fish swarms and some visuals fade while you move. Press again to close; the field collapses over about 1.5 seconds. Toggles are gated by about 0.25 seconds between presses.

Weak enemies are pulled toward the center and briefly restrained. Foes inside take water-pressure damage every 0.5 seconds. Damage rises with tier and gets extra scaling against bosses and high-HP targets, and applies Wet.

At tier 10 with weapon level 14, some domain skill projectiles switch to infinite damage while the field stays open. See Aura of Overwhelming Power.

Tips: Most domain skills require Tidal Domain to be open. Tier also sets outer radius, pressure damage, and how many eyes System Crashed lets you activate.

02

Past Self Invasion

Unlock
From tier 1
Trigger
Halibut: Past Self Invasion
Cooldown
~0.2s toggle interval

Toggle echo selves that replay your movement and shots from seconds ago.

Mechanics

Toggle skill. While active, spawns as many echo selves as your current domain tier (1 to 10) and continuously records your position and shots.

Clones replay the saved path and fire when you did. Damage scales slightly with weapon level and ammo type. The nearest clone trails by about 1 second; each additional one adds about 0.5 seconds.

Turning the skill off clears clones over about 0.8 seconds. Toggle cooldown is about 0.2 seconds.

Tips: Fight normally for a few seconds, then turn it on to stack older firepower. Higher tiers cover a longer replay window.

03

Fish Teleport

Unlock
While Tidal Domain is open
Trigger
Domain Teleport
Cooldown
3 seconds

Blink to your cursor inside an open Tidal Domain; out-of-range targets clamp to the outer ring.

Mechanics

Only works while Tidal Domain is open; the key does nothing otherwise.

Targets your cursor in world space. If the point lies beyond the current outer ring, you land on the boundary along that direction instead.

The blink takes about 0.8 seconds: you scatter with fish, vanish, then reform at the destination. The field center follows you more slowly during the jump.

3 second cooldown, independent of domain toggles.

Tips: Use it to reposition inside an open field. Aim your landing away from enemy fire.

04

Causality Reset

Unlock
From tier 5
Trigger
Self-Restart
Cooldown
3 minutes

Fish swarm wraps you for a full reset: max HP, clear all buffs and debuffs, zero resurrection progress.

Mechanics

Available from tier 5. After about 2 seconds of fish wrapping you, HP refills, all buffs and debuffs clear, and resurrection progress resets. Siren Music Box curse is removed if present.

Fatal damage during the animation is blocked. After use, the Abyssal Domain panel locks for a period that scales with System Crashed level, about 15 to 30 seconds. On death and respawn, lock time is capped at 3 seconds.

3 minute cooldown. From tier 7 the UI label reads wide-area restart, but the effect matches tier 5.

Tips: Long-cooldown safety button. It wipes resurrection progress, so weigh that before using it at high resurrection stages.

05

Quantum Singularity

Unlock
From tier 7
Trigger
Halibut: Superposition
Cooldown
~15–30s (scales with domain tier)

Echo selves converge from all sides, then seven Halibut cannons volley fish behind your aim.

Mechanics

Available from tier 7. After about 1 second of gathering and 0.75 seconds of collapse, seven Halibut cannons deploy on the side opposite your aim. Collapse locks your cursor direction.

Each cannon charges, then fires four volleys of ten fish each. One volley deals about weapon damage × (domain tier − 6) × 2.

Base cooldown is 30 seconds at tier 7, minus 5 seconds per tier above that (about 15 seconds at tier 10).

At tier 10 with Tidal Domain open, volley damage switches to infinite damage.

Tips: Best after opening Tidal Domain and holding position. Point at the target before collapse locks aim.

06

Aura of Overwhelming Power

Unlock
Tier 10 · weapon level 14
Trigger
Hold LMB (tier 10 domain open)
Cooldown
None (ends on release)

Tier-10 finale: hold LMB to loop cannon volleys, Causality Reset, and converging echo selves.

Mechanics

Requires tier 10 Tidal Domain open and Halibut at weapon level 14.

Hold left mouse to sustain the effect.

Echo selves and fish continuously converge from afar.

About every 0.9 seconds a Superposition Strike cannon wave refreshes behind you. About every 0.6 seconds Causality Reset triggers: max HP, clear all buffs and debuffs, reset resurrection progress.

Releasing left mouse ends the effect over about 1 second. No separate cooldown; uptime depends on meeting the requirements and holding the button.

Tips: Endgame cleanup tool. Causality Reset every 0.6 seconds makes you hard to kill, but resurrection progress keeps resetting.
