Thermal Generator MK2
Thermal Generator MK2 raises the temperature cap, output, and storage all at once. It is the mid to late-game single-unit power source.

| Field | MK1 | MK2 |
|---|---|---|
| Max UE storage | 1000 | 10000 |
| Peak output | ~85 UE/s | ~225 UE/s |
| Max temperature | 600 | 2000 |
| Optimal temperature | 420 | 1400 |
| Temp cost per UE | 0.08 | 0.5 |
| Tile size | 2×2 | 4×3 |
| Sell price | 60 silver 20 copper | 2 gold |
The 10000 UE store works like built-in buffering, so MK2 is a generator and a reservoir in one tile.

Mechanics
Section titled “Mechanics”Same temperature logic as Thermal Generator, scaled up:
- Efficiency rises as temperature approaches optimal
- No output below 50 temp
- Faster fuel consumption → higher burst output
- 0.5 temp per UE (vs 0.08 on MK1) → needs high burn-value fuel
Uses the same fuel table as MK1. See the full fuel list. Low burn-value wood is much worse on MK2, so Lava Bucket, Hellstone Bar, and Coal make better staples.
- One MK2 on main trunk + 1–2 Thermal Battery units runs full automation
- Handles Tesla Electromagnetic Tower Attack mode + multiple Mining Machine Mk2 units alone
- Keep MK1 + wind/hydro for low-maintenance side loads
