Himura Mayo
Himura Mayo waits under the crimson-bride torii. Onikiri must be drawn before she speaks.

Combat is on Legend · Onikiri. Wraiths are on the Ghost Register.

The torii
Section titled “The torii”After the world generates, a torii stands near spawn with the blade under it. It is not sealed, and it does not check which bosses have been killed.
Walk within about 12 tiles. The prompt is [Right Click] Draw the blade. A full inventory blocks the draw and shows “Inventory is full. Clear a slot before drawing the blade.”
Right click starts a short drawing rite. The blade goes into the inventory. The shrine leaves for the current player. Other players who have not drawn it still see the sword.
If the blade was already drawn, or Onikiri is already in the inventory, the current player no longer sees the full shrine.
First meeting
Section titled “First meeting”Mayo speaks after the shrine’s exit finishes. Onikiri must be in the inventory.
The talk is short. When it ends, the first meeting is complete. Trial commissions wait until this meeting is done. After the lesson has also been offered (taken or skipped), Onikiri · Trial Cuts appears in the commission dossier.
The lesson is offered once. A Keiko Rune can open it again later.
After that
Section titled “After that”After the first meeting, some boss kills bring Mayo back to talk and hand over an inscription rubbing. The 22 seats are listed on Mayo gifts. Inscription effects stay on Inscriptions. Her lines stay in the game.
The main menu has a night-sakura theme. It only changes the menu. It does not change world progress.
