Barren Bow

Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Barren Bow is a fast auto-firing bow. Hold left click to draw and loose arrows on a loop. Its trick is not the arrow itself but the barren current that bursts where the arrow dies: when an arrow hits an enemy, strikes a wall, or reaches the end of its flight, it detonates a barren current at that spot.

Combat Behavior
Section titled “Combat Behavior”Hold left click to start drawing; a full draw takes about 0.25 s per arrow, then it repeats. The arrow type comes from your ammo, and each shot spends one arrow. Higher ranged attack speed draws faster.
Every arrow fired is tracked. When that arrow disappears, the barren current bursts at its last position:
- A harmless shockwave ring
- 2 barren current arcs that chain between nearby enemies
- Each arc deals about half the arrow’s damage
Because the current follows where each arrow dies, it pays off most against packed groups: one arrow buried in a crowd can chain its arcs across several foes.
