“Add more diesel”
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Commander’s Chainsaw is a Death Mode drop from Skeletron Prime. Its damage runs through Calamity’s true melee multiplier and does not scale with attack speed bonuses. Hold left click and the saw reaches about 2 to 3 tiles toward the cursor, cutting whatever it touches and turning to follow your aim. It also has axe power 20 for chopping trees.

Combat Behavior
Section titled “Combat Behavior”- Hold left click to keep cutting, release to retract
- It hits the same enemy about every 0.1 s
- Each hit throws amber sparks and applies about 1 second of Hell fire Explosion
- Tool: axe power 20 for chopping trees and mining
Easter Egg
Section titled “Easter Egg”If the player character is named CHAINSAW DEVIL (a reference to Chainsaw Man), Commander’s Chainsaw gains extra effects:
- Hit interval becomes near-instant
- Each hit restores 2 HP and spawns red blood mist instead of sparks
How to Obtain
Section titled “How to Obtain”Drops from Skeletron Prime in Death Mode only, at roughly 25% (shared drop pool with Commander’s Staff, Hyperion Barrage, and Raider Gun).
