Overview
Section titled “Overview”Fallen King’s Crown is one of the brutal relics. While worn, you take no fall damage.
Hold Down in midair and the crown appears, then you drop faster. If you do not hold Down, a natural fall past about 25 tiles arms the dive on its own. Enemies you hit on the way down are crushed by the crown.
Landing fires a gel shockwave. Deeper falls hit harder and cover more ground. Damage stops scaling after about 40 tiles. Radius and the visual still grow past that. The wave settles at most once every 1.5 seconds. The crown dims while it recharges.
The impact leaves a gel field that slows enemies and drains their life. Grappling, mounting, riding a pulley, entering liquid, or flipping gravity cancels the dive. A soft landing or a wave still on cooldown just puts the crown away.
