Handmade Sewn Doll
“Handmade, and the Guide doesn't know”
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Handmade Sewn Doll replaces the Guide Voodoo Doll workflow. Using it does not require throwing anything into lava—it instantly kills the Guide (if alive) and summons the Wall of Flesh, bypassing the vanilla “throw the doll into lava” requirement.

Requirements / Behavior
Section titled “Requirements / Behavior”- Player must be in the Underworld
- The world must not already have an active Wall of Flesh or Wall of Flesh eye
- Use forcibly kills the Guide NPC (if present), then immediately summons the Wall of Flesh
- The item itself is not consumed
Every world needs the Wall of Flesh to enter Hardmode, but the Guide is not always nearby—this item covers that gap.
How to Obtain
Section titled “How to Obtain”Craft at the Loom:
- Black Thread ×2
- Hay ×4
- Soul of Light ×2
- Soul of Night ×2
Throwing it into the Shimmer converts it to the vanilla Guide Voodoo Doll.
