Stellar Hunter is the ranged gun branch of the neutron weapon line. It accepts normal bullets but rewrites them into neutron slugs. Left click is an extremely fast spray; right click switches to sniper fire and builds charge toward a large neutron star blast.

Each shot is a neutron slug. On hit it spawns a warp point (persistent damage zone) on the enemy and sprays 3 gamma rays outward. Every third shot adds a little cooldown, so DPS cannot stack infinitely—but it is still brutal.

Grip animation changes; shots use precision sniper mode at 5.6× panel damage with ~0.67 s recovery. Each hit adds +10 to the weapon’s internal charge bar:

  • At 80 charge, a neutron star explosion drops at the cursor and the gun enters a “charge complete” state
  • While charge-complete, the next sniper shot jumps to 15.6× panel damage
  • That shot then drains charge back toward 0 and the loop restarts

The sniper rhythm is build → burst → build → burst: land eight hits, get an explosion plus a mega sniper round, then rebuild.
