Equip effects
Section titled “Equip effects”Double-tap a direction becomes the crimson shadow dash. It replaces the Shield of Cthulhu dash and the Master Ninja Gear dash. Full speed lasts about 0.27 seconds, then about 0.1 seconds of braking. The dash is faster than the vanilla Shield of Cthulhu dash. After the dash ends, about 0.5 seconds must pass before another dash.
A bash deals 30 base melee damage and takes melee damage bonuses. Each enemy is bashed at most once per dash. The impact grants about 0.13 seconds of immunity, or about 0.2 seconds if a Cross Necklace-style longer-immunity effect is active.
