Swarm Vortex Beacon

Overview
Section titled “Overview”Swarm Vortex Beacon is one of the brutal relics. Hits add Bee Marks. Marks fade after about 4 seconds without a hit. At 8 stacks the target is caught in a swarm vortex.
The vortex grinds for about 5 seconds, stinging 4 times per second for 18 base damage. Trapped enemies are heavily slowed. Bosses only slow a little. More hits on that victim extend the grip, up to 8 seconds. Only one vortex is kept. When a new prey fills its marks, or the current victim dies, the swarm moves to a nearby enemy. The vortex’s own stings do not refresh its timer. A Hive Pack raises sting damage by 25%.
Stand still and the swarm returns to you as a wax ward, filling in a bit over half a second. It absorbs up to 30 damage. After you start moving it lingers 5 seconds, then melts. A shattered ward takes 3 seconds to crystallize again.
