Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Junkman is a hostile industrial structure that spawns in underground mines. It looks like a Collector but treats nearby players as salvage.
“It’s passionate about recycling — including you. To it, there’s no real difference between a plastic bottle and your spinal cord.”
Within about 87 tiles it extends an arm to attack. After a hit the building stalls briefly. When destroyed it drops a Collector, but unlike a friendly Collector it does not store loot in chests.
Behavior
Section titled “Behavior”- Occupies 3×5 tiles with about 800 UE stored internally, but does not join power networks
- Cannot be destroyed by explosives; high mining resistance
- Appears alongside Wilderness Lumberjack and Wilderness Tree Planter as hostile automation ruins on asteroids
Do not stand inside arm range.
