Overview

Each shot launches a miniature Eater of Souls that wriggles along the ground and attacks enemies.

This fish has worms!

Mechanics

Each shot fires an eight-segment Eater of Souls along the shot direction. It searches for the nearest enemy within about 50 tiles, accelerates toward them, and briefly surges when close to bite. It pierces 5 enemies. Worm body segments take half damage; Devourer of Gods head and tail take double damage.

Lifetime is about 8 seconds. It is not blocked by terrain. The skill has no separate fire interval and scales with weapon fire rate.

Tips

Good for scattered mobs and single-target pursuit. Worms crawl along the ground, so open flat ground hits more reliably than multi-layer platforms.
