While firing, periodically summons a frost minnow that scatters frost balls at enemies.

Mechanics

While firing with cooldown ready (about 1.5 seconds base, shortened by domain layers), a frost minnow spawns above and beside you. After appearing it charges, prioritizes the nearest enemy within about 87 tiles (or your cursor if none), and fans out about 6 plus domain layers divided by 2 frost flakes.

Flakes pierce 3 times, weakly track with slight gravity, and apply Frostburn for about 3 seconds on hit. The minnow body deals no contact damage.

Tips

Just keep shooting; debuff cost is very low. At high domain layers cooldown becomes very short for steady Frostburn stacking. With no enemies, flakes still spray toward your cursor for area coverage.
