Overview

While firing, obsidian fish orbit and deal contact damage. Each time you take damage, one fish shatters.

Research note

Obsidian is actually quite brittle, you know.

Mechanics

While firing with cooldown ready (about 2 seconds base, shortened by domain layers), one obsidian fish joins orbit, up to 5 plus domain layers divided by 2. Each fish gathers for about 0.33 seconds, then orbits at about 9 tiles radius and damages enemies on contact for about 160% weapon damage plus 55% per domain layer. Worm body segments take ×0.6 damage.

Each time you take damage, the most recently summoned fish shatters and is removed without blocking that hit. Switching off or disabling the skill removes any unshattered fish.

Tips

Fire repeatedly before engaging to fill orbit, then fight in melee range. Each fish acts as one hit buffer. Domain layers raise the cap and per-fish damage.
