Origin

Jinan sees much rain, and the drizzle by Daming Lake often falls unbroken for days. The rain is gentle yet ceaseless, soaking through heaven and earth

While hung, each rain beat interval is multiplied by 0.80, and each drop’s damage by 0.94. Tempo still follows minion slots: about 0.43 seconds per beat at the low end, faster with more slots, down to about 0.23 seconds. Auto-rain is already 50% slower. Fine Rain stacks on that slower tempo.

While rain is still falling, about 10 seconds fills lingering and enters Lin. While Lin is active, tempo is multiplied by 0.90 again, about 0.72 of the baseline when stacked. A drizzle veil hangs under the umbrella. Drops turn slate-blue and do not change damage again.

After the rain stops, lingering drains in about 2.5 seconds. Lin turns off when the reading falls below 0.6. Recalling the umbrella halves lingering immediately. Unequipping Kikasa skips recall, so lingering is not halved. Idle on the shoulder does not count as raining.
