Each time the umbrella leaves the idle shoulder for an attack state, the first beat drops three rapid drops at 75% damage each. They fall almost together, and they fall faster. Only rim drops count. Pour scatter does not use this triple. The next beat’s interval is 40% longer. After that, tempo returns to normal.
Rise time is cut to about a quarter, roughly 0.07 seconds. Holding left-click starts rain immediately, so that rise is often invisible. Recalling and raising again starts a new rain and another triple.
Auto-engage also counts as starting rain, and it also triggers the triple and the lagged beat.
