Laser Energy Trans
Laser Energy Trans sends power as a laser to another machine. No pipes. Throughput is low and distance cuts into it, so it suits a cross-base hop, not a main trunk.
Remote power transmission

Pairing
Section titled “Pairing”- No target by default
- Right-click the transmitter to start aiming. The cursor draws a laser guide
- Right-click the target machine (any industrial consumer) to lock
- Right-click the transmitter again to stop aiming or pick a new target
The pair is saved by target position. It survives a world reload.
Distance loss
Section titled “Distance loss”- Distance factor = 1 − distance / max distance (clamped 0–1)
- Base amount is the smallest of: 120 UE/s, remaining UE on the sender, free capacity on the target
- Delivered = base amount × distance factor
- The sender still spends the base amount

Lost UE is still deducted from the sender. At long range the sender may still spend 120 UE/s while the target gets less.
The beam fades with distance. The link is one-way. The target does not send power back. For both directions, pair two units.
