Power
"Ink Rain": cruising in Sakura Flight drops an ink bead dealing 12% of weapon base damage every 0.1s Ink beads spread into puddles upon landing, immobilizing enemies entering the mire for 0.5s
Burden
Sakura Flight vigor drain rate increased by 15%
Origin
Gutters catching rain beneath eaves share this name. The smith fashioned the groove after roof channels: caught rain must not fall in vain, dripping down upon the foes waiting beneath the blade
Sakura flight cost is ×1.15. An empty seat is about 9 per second. Ama-hi is about 10.4. The same breath of vigor flies about 13% less far. Takeoff still needs 10 vigor. Dash cost, natural regen, and ink-brand damage do not change.
Drops only fall while sakura flight is actually moving. About one drop every 0.1 seconds leaves the current position, keeps a little facing inertia, and does not home.
A drop that hits a foe or a tile spreads into a ground puddle. The impact deals 12% of a blade hit. After that the puddle only binds: foes that step in are held for about 0.5 seconds. A puddle lasts about 1.5 seconds. A drop that flies about 2.5 seconds without landing vanishes and makes no puddle.
Release, empty vigor, or leaving omote ends sakura and stops the rain. A short hop near the ground drops few. Puddles can bind. They do not pay back the 15% flight cost.
