Rubbing
Greatly reduces vigor cost of Kamui Flash Step and Sakura Flight; ink brand explosion damage -20%
Power
"Wind-Rider": Kamui Flash Step vigor cost reduced by 15%, Sakura Flight vigor drain rate reduced by 20%
Burden
Explosion damage of ink brands left by Kamui Flash Step reduced by 20%
Origin
The swordsmith carved a long, straight groove into the blade to guide wind along the steel. As it swings the wind arrives first, dying down just as the edge returns to its sheath
A normal Kamui Flash Step costs 30 vigor. With Kaze-hi seated that cost is ×0.85, about 25.5. Execution dashes already cost no vigor, so the 15% never applies there.
Sakura flight drains about 9 vigor per second. Flight cost is then ×0.80. The same breath of vigor lasts about a quarter longer. Takeoff still needs 10 vigor.
Ink brands left by a pierce are then ×0.80. Brands normally settle at 65% of weapon damage, about 52% after this. Combo, Zanshin, Annihilating Flash, and Finale do not take that 20%.
While the seat is filled and Onikiri is held, all three changes stay on. There is no cooldown. If another seat raises dash cost, that multiply sits after the 0.85. The groove on the blade only makes brands look thinner. It does not change damage.
After Hive Mind or the Perforators, Himura Mayo also hands another rubbing. That is only a spare copy.
