Rubbing
Executions leave persistent burning embers at the impact; max vigor -5%, dash cost +10% while embers burn
Power
"Ember-Field": successfully executing a foe leaves an ember field lasting 3s at the impact Enemies within the field take burn damage equal to 16% of weapon base damage every 0.75s Only one field can exist at a time; executing again moves the field to the new position
Burden
Max vigor reduced by 5%; while the ember field burns, Kamui Flash Step vigor cost is increased by 10%
Origin
After the forge fire is banked, embers within the hearth retain warmth throughout the night. The smith borrowed this nature: though flames recede, the searing heat remains
Embers
Section titled “Embers”Yoen is a horimono carving on the blade face. It cannot share the seat with Kurikara. Finale Slash plants at the lock focus. Annihilating Flash plants about 7.5 tiles ahead along the swing. Both executions try to leave a field. The field needs solid ground. If none is found, there are no embers. Only one field stays. Another execution moves the old field to the new point and restarts its lifetime.
It burns for 3 seconds at 16% of current weapon damage. The same foe is burned about every 0.75 seconds. The first ~0.07 seconds and the last ~0.1 seconds deal no damage. Vigor cap is ×0.95. The starting 100 becomes 95. While the field is still burning, dash cost is ×1.10. A starting dash of 30 is about 33 inside the field. Embers do not use the five-beat combo.
The rubbing only says “focus.” The Annihilating Flash plant is not on the cursor lock.
