Origin

The blade is carved with the aspect of Kurikara the Dragon King: a black dragon coiled around a sacred sword, jaws agape to swallow the tip. Gold inlay gleams in the scales, bearing Buddhist wrath against evil

Kurikara is a gold-inlay horimono on the blade face. It cannot share the seat with Yoen or Senju. Gold only changes the carving color and the rubbing’s rarity. Combat numbers do not gain layers or damage from the gold.

Finale Slash on sheath, or Annihilating Flash on start, lights 3 layers for 10 seconds. Another execution resets layers to 3 and restarts the timer. While both the window and the layers remain, finishing a full five-beat combo burns one layer on beat five and throws a looping cut for 50% of that beat’s weapon damage, across the main arc. The first four beats only show leftover fire. They do not burn a layer. Burning all three layers closes the window at once. Leftover layers expire when 10 seconds end. Unequipping the horimono clears layers and the window together.

Vigor cap is ×0.90. The starting 100 becomes 90. A dash still costs 30. Sakura still uses its own cost. Dragon fire leaves no ground field.

Comes with the blade and can be seated on the horimono at the inscription stand. After Providence, Mayo also hands another rubbing. That is a spare copy, not an unlock.
