After the matching boss, Himura Mayo appears again and hands over a rubbing. Boss: Exo Mechs. Himura Mayo
The four blocks below are the rubbing text.
Rubbing
Heavily reduces hostile projectile damage and knockback; standard stance gain -15%
Power
"Quell": taking damage from hostile projectiles reduces damage by 12% and reduces knockback taken to 35%
Burden
Standard stance gain speed reduced by 15%; this carving offers limited benefit in pure close-quarters melee combat
Origin
Arrows and stones clash before the battle lines, panicking the weak. The veteran who carved this line knew that amid flying arrows, planting one's stance firm cuts the wound in half
Projectiles
Section titled “Projectiles”Chinmei is a horimono carving on the blade face. When a hostile projectile hits the wielder, final damage is ×88% (12% less) and knockback is ×35% (65% less). Contact punches, charges, environmental damage, and dismemberment backlash do not use this line. There is no cooldown, no stance gate, and no need to be in an uncancelable art.
If a False Body decoy takes that projectile first, Chinmei does not add on. The decoy zeros that hit.
Everyday stance gain is ×0.85, the same as Fudo and Shibori: about 2.1 on a combo beat’s first hit, about 10.2 on the first dash pierce. Melee contact still lands in full.
Source
Section titled “Source”A Mayo gift. After the Exo Mechs, Himura Mayo appears again and hands this rubbing. Picking it up grants ownership.
